Breakfast Red IPA

Breakfast beers don’t come in bowls – they come in schooners and tins. Tea & Toast Red IPA takes Earl Grey tea and jammy malt sweetness, folds it into a ruby-red pour, and lets piney hops crash the table.

Pours a deep, luminous amber-red with a creamy white head. On the nose, sweet raspberry tea and caramel malt warmth lead, with a subtle echo of citrus zest. The first sip bursts with jammy berry brightness, followed by pine-laced citrus hops that cut sharp and refreshing. Beneath it all, a chewy malt backbone with toast and caramel carries through to a smooth, lingering bitterness. Bold, bright, and a little cheeky – this is a Red IPA first, breakfast second.

Built on pale, rye, and roasted malts for body and toast-like warmth, Tea & Toast layers Idaho 07 for black-tea aroma, then Citra, Mosaic, and Peacharine dry hops for citrus and berry punch. Earl Grey tea leaves were steeped at multiple stages – hot side to dry hop – to play with the hops and deliver aroma without tannic bite. The result: a 6.5% Red IPA that’s complex but drinkable, with flavour that evolves across every sip.
