Bella Raftery (Humpal) moves across collage, digital art, ceramics, photography, and paint, chasing the tension between the familiar and the unknown. Nuclear Family reimagines a Rockwell-esque mother and daughter with alien faces – domestic comfort cracked open by the uncanny. It’s playful, unsettling, and very Bella.

We featured her work on a West Coast IPA because both share clarity with bite – bright structure, sharp detail, and a finish that lingers. The label reads like a second glance: you think you know it, then you don’t, and that’s where the fun begins.
