Bio & Rationale
I’m Jack, known as Freo, a Melbourne-based visual artist. My work is deeply shaped by my life experiences and the world around me. Art has always been a constant for me, something I returned to through every stage of my journey, eventually becoming my full-time path in 2020. My practice blends vibrant pop art with abstract elements, drawing on personal stories and social issues to create bold characters, dynamic shapes, and expressive colour. I’m driven by the challenge of translating complex emotions and the unpredictability of life into visual form, constantly exploring the space between art and design to create work that feels both personal and universally relatable.
