Bio & Rationale
Kelsie Rose is an abstract painter from Orange, NSW, whose work is instantly recognisable for its joyful colour and layered vibrancy. Balancing her art with life as a speech pathologist and mother of three, she brings a groundedness to her practice that makes the bursts of colour even more striking. Her canvases often feature florals and landscapes, but always with a twist – thick paint, scraping, and texture that practically hums with energy.
Her ethos is joy made visible. Every brushstroke feels like optimism captured in colour: hot pinks, sun yellows, deep blues, layered into tactile surfaces that invite you to look closer. It’s painting as celebration, built from texture as much as pigment.
For Aether, Kelsie’s artwork was featured on our Royal Fruit Cup Sour. The beer’s riot of fruity aromas and summer energy found its equal in her canvas, which felt like walking through a bustling fruit market in full bloom. It was proof that art and beer can share the same purpose: to bring people together, spark conversation, and make life a little more vivid.
