ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mr Smudge is a designer and illustrator who is interested in the regular nonsense and randomness that the everyday presents. The places they visit, the characters they meet and the relationship between the two is a common theme throughout Mr Smudge’s work which combines doodles, pattern making and detailed drawings. Mr Smudge grew up on the Sunshine Coast where they spent a lot of time sleeping, eating and surfing. Smudge now lives an hour and half down the road in West End, Brisbane and enjoy the eclectic spaces and personalities that make up the unique community.
