ABOUT THE ARTIST
‘Little Devil is a mixed media print which features a devil – not necessarily evil, but a mischievous trickster desperate to outsmart you, grab your attention and catch you unaware. Audacious, brazen, and fearless… like a kid in a Darth Vader mask.’
Shelley Long is an Australian artist based in Mullumbimby, New South Wales. As the owner-operator of Treadwear T-shirts, Shelley Long combines her skills as a graphic designer and photographer to create mixed media artworks for screen printing. Her t-shirts are all printed by hand in the small northern New South Wales town of Mullumbimby, and feature a collage of photography, hand drawings and digital art. Shelley’s art is shaped by her love for the flexibility of designing with digital platforms and the experience of seeing the fruits of her labour go to print.
